Murashko named four diseases that cause the greatest damage to the health of Russians

The greatest harm to the physical condition of people today are four diseases such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and various atherosclerotic lesions. This was announced on April 16 by the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, speaking at the congress of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers.

"It is necessary to focus on the innovations of the state guarantees program. Of course, today the priority is placed on early detection of diseases. These are primarily diseases such as dyslipidemia — atherosclerotic lesions <...> These are thrombophilic complications, these are atherosclerotic diseases," RIA Novosti quoted Murashko as saying.
