Blogger Valeria Chekalina (Lercek) underwent another chemotherapy session, after which her health deteriorated sharply. Despite her serious condition, she went to fulfill her work arrangements immediately after the procedure. Photographer Georgy Kamaev posted new footage from the hospital on Instagram (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization in Russia). All the details are in the Izvestia article.

Lercek's health status

Chekalina is undergoing treatment for stage four stomach cancer at the Blokhin Cancer Center. The course is divided into nine stages, some of which have already been completed. Due to illness, the blogger has practically lost sight in one eye and has difficulty moving. Hair loss forces her to wear a wig. A venous port was installed in the neck area to perform regular procedures and administer medications to the patient. Despite all this, Lercek does not stop communicating with subscribers and strives to remain active for the sake of children.

Another session of chemotherapy was extremely difficult for Lercek. One of the shots posted by Kamaev shows the blogger sitting right on the bathroom floor of a hospital room — there is an IV drip nearby, and a medical worker is next to it.

"Today is a hard day," the photographer wrote under this picture, without going into details.

In another story, he clarified bluntly: Lercek "was very ill from chemotherapy." The footage shows the blogger lying in bed, haggard and without makeup, holding a mug. Nevertheless, after a while, Chekalina's condition stabilized a little.

"The baby slept a little and said she was feeling better," Kamaev wrote, quoting the words of her lover Luis Squicciarini.

As soon as the IV was turned off, Lercek announced that she was going to a work meeting. Squicciarini tried to dissuade her, but to no avail. The photographer added that he could only support Valeria's every choice. In one of the videos, Kamaev filmed the blogger walking down the street with a suitcase — in a tracksuit, in a wig and with obvious efforts.

"I should go to lie down and recover, but Lera is going to fulfill working arrangements," he commented.

According to the photographer, despite the grueling treatment, Chekalina does not stop building work processes and thinks about how to cope with financial difficulties. Her entourage is trying to persuade her to cancel all plans and focus on recovery.

Lercek's response to accusations of simulation

Separately, Kamaev reacted to publications that appeared online, the authors of which doubt the reality of Lercek's disease. According to him, watching the blogger's super efforts every day in order not to lose heart, continue to live and take care of children and family, he is hard-pressed by the lies that, in his opinion, some spread on the Internet in order to attract attention.

"Everyone will be rewarded for their actions," the photographer concluded.

Personal life of Lercek

In parallel with the treatment, Chekalina is going through a busy period in her personal life. Recently, she and Squicciarini had a son — the boy was given a double name, but in the family he is called Daniel.

In addition, when registering the birth certificate of the fourth child, the former husband of the blogger Artem Chekalin could be indicated in the "father" column.
