The Ministry of Finance and the Central University announced a partnership within the framework of the "Code of the Future" project

The Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Central University have announced a strategic partnership within the framework of the "Code of the Future" project. Graduates of the educational initiative will be able to enroll in a university in a simplified format and study with grant support, the Central University said.

"The Code of the Future project is the most important tool for training IT specialists to build the country's human resources potential. It allowed hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren and college students to get acquainted with the promising field of information technology today. However, we see a gap between starting training and entering the profession. Graduates of the project often lack an understandable next step," commented University Rector Evgeny Ivashkevich.

The main goal of the partnership is to help high school students and college graduates build a career trajectory, from becoming familiar with the IT profession to university admission and subsequent employment.

Applicants will be able to use the certificate of completion of the "Code of the Future" programming courses to proceed to the final stage of the selection of the grant competition of the Central University. The amount of the grant depends on the level of difficulty of the completed course. Graduates of the project will receive an advantage in the competition upon admission to the areas of "Development", "Business and Analytics" and "Artificial Intelligence".

"The guys have a great opportunity to receive a grant of up to 100% for training in high-demand IT specialties at the Central University. I am sure that the new opportunities will allow graduates of the Code of the Future project to choose the optimal trajectories for their professional development," said Tatiana Trubnikova, Director of the Department for the Development of Digital Competencies and Education at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The Code of the Future is an educational initiative of the Ministry of Digital Education, launched in 2022. As part of the program, schoolchildren and college students can take IT courses for free.
