Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been sent from the Russian Portovaya plant to India. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on April 15.
"The LNG cargo from the Russian Portovaya plant on the Baltic Sea is heading to India," the publication says.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 15 that India is an important partner for Russia in the field of energy supplies. Peskov clarified that Russian-Indian relations are not limited only to oil supplies, as this is a "multifaceted cooperation", and Moscow hopes that its scope will only expand in the future.
