- The Moscow Longevity project will join the Biblionoch campaign for the first time
The All-Russian campaign "Biblionoch" will be held for the 15th time on April 18. For the first time, the Moscow Longevity centers will join it — the events will take place at 11 venues in different districts of the city. This was announced on Wednesday, April 16, according to the website of the Moscow City Hall.
It is noted that this year's theme is "The Thread of traditions": guests are invited to get acquainted with the culture of Russia, discuss folklore, customs and the history of the country. The main venue will be the Arbat Center, where a musical performance will open the program, followed by creative meetings with poets and project participants.
In other centers, meetings with representatives of the Writers' Union of Russia are scheduled from 16:00. Participants will be able to discuss the profession of a writer, the search for their own style and the path to publication.
The program also includes meetings of book clubs and lectures by museum staff dedicated to the works of classics, including Mikhail Bulgakov, Alexander Pushkin and Leo Tolstoy, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
The evening will end with an open microphone hour: participants of the Moscow Longevity will take the stage and read works by famous authors, writes Moscow 24.
