Acceptance of applications for grants for entrepreneurs has started in Moscow

Applications for grants and subsidies for entrepreneurs have begun in Moscow, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital. According to her, the support is aimed at representatives of priority sectors, including information technology, industry, science and creative industries.

"Moscow companies can receive support in three areas: testing innovations, exporting goods, and training employees," Sergunina said. "Last year, more than 575 million rubles of subsidies and grants were approved for these programs."

The list of documents and grant application forms are posted on the Delo in Moscow city portal.

The capital has the largest innovation testing infrastructure in the world, combining 322 sites. Since 2020, the city has initiated over 770 trials of products from various industries, from trade and tourism to housing and communal services.

As part of the program, developers receive access to urban and commercial facilities, expert support, and feedback from potential buyers. Such tests provide an opportunity to refine the product to meet customer needs and prepare it for market launch.

Participants of the Moscow Innovation Cluster can receive a grant for product testing. Last year, the amount of support provided under this scheme amounted to almost 240 million rubles.

Another grant is provided for exporters. They can receive up to 10% of the amount of the foreign trade contract. New exporters and those who show an increase in turnover of more than 20% are reimbursed up to 20%. The maximum amount of payments is 10 million rubles per year, but not more than 50% of the amount of taxes paid to the city budget. In addition, subsidies for employee training are available to entrepreneurs.

A number of concessional lending programs have also been extended in Moscow. These include loans for replenishment of working capital, for export activities and secured by intellectual property.
