- The second semi-final of the IEK Electricians Championship will be held in Kazan.
The second semi-final of the IEK Electricians Championship will be held in Kazan on April 21. This is one of the largest industry professional skills competitions, which is held internationally and collects thousands of applications from participants from Russia and the CIS countries.
This year, for the first time in its history, the participants of the championship will visit the company's production sites with guided tours. Contestants from the Russian Federation will be able to undergo an independent qualification assessment (NOC) and receive a government-issued document confirming their level of training. The Kazan Energy College will become the venue for the event.
"Kazan is a large industrial center with high—tech industries, and one of the strategically important regions for our company ― this is where our lighting production is located," says Natalia Belskaya, HR Director at IEK GROUP. ― We have been cooperating with Kazan Energy College for a long time, they train specialists of the highest level, and we are glad to be involved in this process."
The college will also host a semi-final business program. Representatives of the IEK GROUP, the Agency for the Development of Professional Skills, government authorities, and business representatives will speak at the plenary session "Tools for developing the human resources potential of Russian enterprises in order to achieve Russia's technological leadership at the global level."
The 15 strongest electricians of the Volga Federal District will participate in the semi-finals. They represent Kazan, Ufa, Miass, Leninogorsk and Cheboksary.
A separate program has been prepared for the guests of the semi-final: they will receive master classes on IEK's flagship equipment, an exhibition of new products, personal communication with experts and exchange of experience, and interactive prize draws on the site.
After the competition, the contestants will go on an excursion to the IEK GROUP factory, where lighting equipment is manufactured. This is a unique opportunity for electricians to get acquainted with the manufacturing process of the company's products.
All participants of the semi-final will receive an International Skills Passport confirming their qualifications according to the BRICS standard. Two semi-final winners from the Professionals League and one from the Juniors League will receive IEK GIFTS cash certificates and advance to the Championship finals, where they will compete for the main prize of the competition and a ticket to the International High-Tech Professions Championship "High-tech: Skills of the Future".
Everyone can attend the semi-final, see the work of real professionals and support them on April 21 at 29/111 Nursultan Nazarbayev St., Kazan.
