Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces repelled the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the help of a new interceptor drone

A mobile fire group of the fourth separate motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Group of Forces repelled an air attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using a new Yelka interceptor drone. This was announced on April 15 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is clarified that after receiving information about the detection of the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the calculation of the anti-aircraft division is being put forward to destroy it. At the same time, domestic Ulan-2 off-road vehicles, the Utes heavy machine gun and Yelka interceptor drones are used.

It is noted that after the target is eliminated, the calculation does not leave its location. Thus, the Russian fighters prevent new drone strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Basically, we shoot down hexacopters. <...> Air surveillance posts on the front line report on overflights, and the mobile group, realizing which way they are flying, through which areas, intercepts them," said the commander of the anti—aircraft division of the 4th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Yuzhnaya group of forces with the call sign Czech.

On April 14, the soldiers of the mobile fire group (MOG) of the 4th Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces shared the specifics of their work in the Konstantinovsky area. It is noted that the fighters use the Ulan-2 vehicle, which allows them to move quickly through difficult terrain and quickly take up positions.
