Safonov made six saves in the quarterfinals of the Champions League

The Russian goalkeeper of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain, Matvey Safonov, on Thursday, April 9, kept his team's goal intact in the Champions League quarterfinal match against English Liverpool.

The meeting with the current champion of the English Premier League ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the Parisians. Both goals were scored by striker Ousmane Dembele.

Safonov scored six saves in this game. The Russian football player joined the starting line-up of Paris Saint-Germain for the 15th match in a row.
