Britain and France opposed the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz

Great Britain and France, allies of the United States of America (USA), opposed the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by The Mirror magazine on April 14.

"This is a war that we did not start. It was a war that we didn't want. I am very disappointed that the United States entered this war without a clear exit plan, without a clear idea of what they were trying to achieve," The United Kingdom's Finance Minister Rachel Reeves told The Mirror.
