More than 180 people were affected by ticks in the Lipetsk region

In the Lipetsk region, 188 people sought medical help in connection with the sucking of ticks. This is reported by the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

"Since the beginning of their activity in 2026, 188 people have sought medical help for tick bites, including 79 children (42%)," the report says.

69% of cases of tick sucking occurred on the territory of households and household plots, 11.7% of cases in natural conditions, 7% in cemeteries, 4.2% and 3.2% in parks and horticultural associations, respectively. The remaining 4.9% are designated as "other places".

According to GOROD48 with reference to the federal Rospotrebnadzor, the Lipetsk region is one of the regions where the most affected by ticks are recorded. The same list includes the Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Leningrad, Moscow, Kostroma, Voronezh, Samara and Omsk regions, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that since the beginning of the season in Russia, more than 6 thousand people have sought medical help in connection with tick bites.
