The expert spoke about the causes of early baldness in zoomers
Increased stress levels, sleep disorders and concomitant diseases are becoming key factors for early baldness in young people, with the problem increasingly affecting not only men but also women. This was announced on April 14 by Spartak Kayumov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, President of the Union of Trichologists, in a conversation with Izvestia.
According to the expert, genetic predisposition and various diseases remain among the main causes of early hair loss, but behavioral factors are playing an increasingly important role among young people.
"Increased stress levels and sleep disorders can cause hair loss. Many young people disrupt their sleep schedule, going to bed late either because of work or because of overnight Internet traffic. And at night, our body regains its strength, and it helps our hair grow a lot," said Kayumov.
He stressed that men are still more prone to baldness due to increased testosterone. At the same time, according to him, the number of complaints from women has increased recently, whose hair loss is often associated with a deficiency of trace elements, in particular iron, overweight and chronic stress.
Kayumov also pointed out the influence of a psychoemotional state on hair health. According to the observations of the trichologist, a change in stressful work can lead to its improvement. At the same time, the specialist clarified that in cases where damage has already occurred, the quality of the hair may remain reduced, but the elimination of the stress factor contributes to its partial recovery.
