A schoolboy who fired a flare gun at a classmate in St. Petersburg did it involuntarily. This was reported on April 14 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city.

"A student <...> took out a "hunter's signal" in the classroom, which fired an involuntary shot. As a result of the incident, a classmate was injured," the MAX messenger says.

The ministry noted that an inspection of the scene is currently underway, as well as other verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

The fact that a schoolboy shot at a classmate with a flare gun in St. Petersburg became known earlier that day. According to the Izvestia source, the victim suffered burns. In addition, the attacker was detained.
