Fire stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations appeared on three islands of Khabarovsk

In Khabarovsk, island territories have prepared to fight landscape fires. In order to prevent an emergency, temporary fire stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were set up.

They appeared on the islands of Bolshoy Ussuriysky, Dachny and Kabelny. The mobile groups of the search and rescue squad and the specialized fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region were delivered there by the Mi-8 helicopter of the Khabarovsk Aviation Rescue Center.

According to Andrey Shadrin, the senior group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, two groups of four people will monitor the fire situation on the islands of Kabelny and Dachny. They have everything they need for this, including ATVs with trailers, satchel fire extinguishers, trench tools and property for living in the field.

Four people will also be on duty on Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island. Interaction with the local population has been established.

IA AmurMedia notes that there are abandoned summer cottages on the islands, so any fire can cause large-scale burning of dry vegetation.

This is the sixth time that the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region and the city administration have organized temporary posts on the Khabarovsk islands. This is necessary to ensure the safety of permanent residents of the islands and summer residents who come there for the season. The duty of rescuers and firefighters will continue until the fire situation stabilizes.

Earlier it was reported that the fire season is open in 10 of the 40 forestry districts of the region. The first fires in the forests have already been recorded there. Citizens must comply with current fire safety measures, regardless of the official status of the season in a particular territory, said Vladimir Kadykov, Deputy Minister of Forestry and Timber Processing.
