Belgium and Spain intend to allocate €1 billion each to Kiev for military needs in 2026. This was announced on April 13 by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, in the Telegram channel.

"I had conversations with the Defense Ministers of Belgium, Theo Francken, and Spain, Margarita Robles. <...> Belgium is allocating €1 billion in defense aid to Ukraine this year. <...> Spain is also providing €1 billion this year," he said.
