Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said a day earlier that the first spring thunderstorm was expected in Moscow on Tuesday with a probability of more than 50%. She added that about 8 mm of precipitation could fall in the capital.

On the same day, she explained that the weather in Moscow in the coming week would be warm, but unstable — with short-term rains, increased winds and temperatures above the climatic norm.
