The State Duma recalled the right to involve schoolchildren in work without parental consent

Current legislation already allows students to be involved in socially useful work without parental consent. This was announced on April 13 by Sergey Kolunov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

"In 2023, we developed and adopted amendments to the Law on Education, which enshrine the obligation of schoolchildren to work. I'm a co-author. According to the document, parental permission is not required to involve schoolchildren in work within the school," Kolunov told TASS.
