Cinematographer Igor Bek died on Sunday, April 11, at the age of 82. The relevant information was published on the official website of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia on April 13.

"We are saying goodbye to our colleague and friend, a wonderful cinematographer, a wonderful, sincere person. We offer our most sincere condolences to the family of Igor Donatovich and his many friends," the publication says.

The cinematographer's filmography includes more than 10 famous paintings. Among his most significant works are the films Faith and Truth (1979) directed by Andrei Smirnov and Ladies Invite Gentlemen (1980) by Ivan Kiasashvili.

In addition, Beck was the director of photography for the films "There was no Sadness" (1982), "Itchy, you're Fired!" (1984), "My Favorite Clown" (1986), "Marriage Loan" (1987), "Ruth" (1989), "Wandering Stars" (1991), "Fostering Cruelty in Women and Dogs" (1992) and "The Fall" (1993).
