UAZ lost to three foreign brands and one domestic in the pickup truck market

According to the results of the first quarter of this year, UAZ ranked fifth in terms of sales of new pickups, behind three Chinese car brands and one domestic. According to the analytical agency Autostat on April 13, 510 UAZ pickups were sold in the country in three months.

In the first place in the vintage rating is JAC with a score of 674 copies (16% of the market). Next are RAM (631 units), which is not officially represented on the Russian market, as well as domestic Sollers (545 units) and Changan (523 units). UAZ took the fifth place.

Among the models, the best-selling in January-March was the JAC T9 (647 units), followed by the RAM 1500 (631 units), Changan Hunter Plus (521 units), UAZ Pickup (510 units) and Great Wall Poer (428 units).

According to analysts, the RAM pickup truck has become the most popular among Russians over the past two months, and the JAC model is leading only due to the January results.

In total, 4,233 new pickups were sold in Russia in the first quarter of this year, which is 19.9% less than a year ago.
