- More than 56 thousand people have mastered the rules of caring for their loved ones in the centers of the RCC
In 2025, more than 56,000 people have mastered the rules of caring for loved ones in the centers of the Russian Red Cross (RCC). This was announced on April 13 by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova during the XVIII Congress of the organization.
"In 2025 alone, more than 56,000 people were trained in the rules of family care in your training centers, gaining specific practical skills. These are thousands of families who have become more confident in their abilities and can organize care at home," she said.
According to the deputy chairman of the government, currently the development of a long-term care system and support for older citizens are not one-time actions, but sustainable forms of assistance. She added that the RCC is also a key partner of the state in the development of donation, blood and bone marrow. At the same time, almost 100% of donations are made free of charge.
"I would like to note that in our country there are 99% of such donations. This speaks, of course, about the mercy of our citizens and directly affects the stability of the blood service, the availability of its components for patients and saves thousands of lives," concluded Golikova.
Alexander Zhuravsky, Deputy head of the Department of Public Projects of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, said on the same day that about 8.6 million Russians had received assistance from the Russian Red Cross over the past five years. He stressed that the level of citizens' trust in the organization has grown significantly, and noted that the RSC is becoming an important expert and resource center developing its own educational projects.
