- In Finland, the Ukrainian origin of four drones that fell in the country has been established.
The Finnish police have determined that all four drones that fell on the territory of the country were launched by Ukraine. This was announced on April 13 by the Finnish TV channel Yle.
"It cannot be ruled out that they have already been or will still be in Finland. It is assumed that these are separate drones of this type," the TV channel quotes Risto Lohi, a representative of Finnish law enforcement agencies.
He also added that the country's authorities expect to find several more drones in the same area. At the same time, the Finnish special services have not yet been able to accurately identify the drone model.
On April 12, a drone with a warhead was found in the Finnish municipality of Iitti — the device was lying on the ground and was found by a random passerby. The area where the drone was detected, where residential buildings are located a kilometer from the scene, was cordoned off by police, and roads were blocked.
On the same day, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, condemned the use of the country's airspace by Ukrainian drones (UAVs) to attack Russian territory.According to the politician, the current course of the government is leading the country to a direct military clash.
