Units of the Southern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation intercepted a radio exchange between the battalion's command and observation post and a group of militants from the 28th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, searching for the fighter who killed his colleague in Konstantinovka.

Authorities toughen penalties for abandoning military unit

On March 27, the Main Police Department in the Zhytomyr region reported the arrest of two Ukrainian Armed Forces militants who voluntarily left the unit with weapons in early January and committed a double murder. Criminal cases have been initiated against the intruders, who had previous convictions for robbery, property and drug crimes.

On March 24, it was reported that one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants was detained for the murder of his wife. It was noted that the man sent his wife and his children a parcel with groceries, where he had previously placed an explosive device. During the detonation of the supply, a woman died on the spot, and minors aged six and one and a half years were injured and hospitalized.
