The Ukrainian Water Polo Federation (WWPU) has appealed to the International Aquatics Federation (World Aquatics) with a request to cancel the World Cup second division match between the national teams of Russia and Ukraine. This was announced on Wednesday, March 11, by Alexander Dyadyura, a representative of the FIPU and former captain of the Ukrainian team.
"Look, this issue has not been resolved yet. It is currently being discussed with the organizers. The position of our federation is that this match should not happen at all. At these moments, the issue is being resolved with the organizers," the Ukrainian edition of Champion quotes Dyalyura as saying.
