In Zelenogorsk, five people, including two children, were injured in a traffic accident. This was announced on April 12 by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

"As a result of the accident, the drivers of both vehicles were seriously injured, as well as a female passenger of a minibus born in 1942, all of them were hospitalized in serious condition. Two children, boys aged 7 and 11, were also injured in the passenger car," a message on the MAX messenger said.

According to preliminary data, the driver of a Volkswagen Crafter minibus was traveling along the Primorsky highway from the village of Ushkovo towards St. Petersburg. Turning left, at the intersection of Primorsky Highway and Shirokaya Street, he collided with a Geely Coolray.

It is specified that an investigation is being conducted into the incident, aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

On April 12, the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Saratov region reported that four people were killed in an accident involving a truck in the Krasnoarmeysky district. According to the agency, the driver and three passengers of a passenger car that collided with a truck were killed in the incident.

On April 10, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 214 road accidents had occurred on Russian roads over the past day, in which 26 people were killed and 243 injured. 19 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
