Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Moscow on April 13. The Indonesian leader will arrive in the capital on a working visit.
"On April 13, Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Moscow with President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, who will pay a working visit to Russia," the Kremlin website says.
It is specified that during the talks, the parties intend to discuss the further development of the bilateral strategic partnership, as well as key issues on the international and regional agenda.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing on April 9 that preparations were underway in Moscow for the upcoming visit of the Indonesian president. Peskov confirmed that contacts with Subianto should take place as early as next week.
Later, on April 11, Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono announced that Subianto was preparing for a state visit to Russia, where he was scheduled to hold talks with Putin. According to the head of the department, in Moscow, the Indonesian leader will discuss issues of strategic importance to the state.
