Moskalkova named the amount of payments to Ukrainians evacuated from her zone
The citizens of Ukraine evacuated by the Russian military from the combat zone, based on the data provided, received payments of 10 thousand rubles each and are in temporary accommodation facilities in Russia. This was announced on April 12 by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova.
"They have received payments of 10,000 [rubles], they have the right to free movement. Those who have documents and a desire to leave, they can do it on their own or with our help," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
Moskalkova stressed that evacuees have the right to free movement, and those who wish to leave Russia can do so on their own or with the help of the authorities.
Prior to that, on March 2, Moskalkova reported that Kiev was not ready to accept seven Ukrainians who had been rescued by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from the area of the special operation. She recalled that in December last year, the Russian military rescued 46 Ukrainian citizens, 17 of whom have already returned to their families. According to her, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Russian Red Cross and Belarus, whose border Ukrainians cross, are helping to organize the return process.
