A piece of Holy Fire was delivered from Moscow to Donetsk. This was announced on April 12 by Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Bykovsky.

The fire was brought to the church of Saints Peter and Fevronia. The footage shows how the parishioners of the temple light their candles from the Holy Fire.

"The head of the Young Guard of United Russia, Sergei Dobrovolsky, traveled a thousand kilometers the night before, where a special board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations landed directly from Jerusalem. In less than half a day, I brought a piece of holy fire from Moscow to the capital of the Donetsk People's Republic," the journalist said.

The day before, the Holy Fire was brought from Jerusalem to Moscow. A piece of the Easter Holy Fire, delivered from Jerusalem to Moscow, was greeted by believers at Vnukovo airport.

On April 11, the Holy Fire descended in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The ceremony took place on Holy Saturday. Before that, prayer processions took place in the temple, and the Kuvuklia, the chapel above the Lord's bed, was searched for fire sources and sealed.

The plane with the Holy Fire later took off from Tel Aviv to Moscow. Yakunin carried the lamp with the shrine on board the aircraft.
