In Istanbul, Turkish police detained 17 people on suspicion of using or acquiring drugs, including the famous actress of the TV series "Kingfisher" and "Cranberry Sherbet" Aleina Bozok. The Turkish prosecutor's office announced this on April 12.

It is noted that 24 suspects were to be detained during the operation, and four establishments were searched. The police have established that six of the alleged defendants are abroad.

According to the Cumhuriyet newspaper, in addition to Bozok, former football referee and now influencer Elif Karaarslan, owner of the Kütüphane club Ali Koz and a number of other well-known stars on social networks were among the detainees. 77% of Turkish celebrities tested positive for drugs.

Also on April 7, at least nine well-known representatives of show business and the film industry were detained in Istanbul during a new anti-drug operation. Among the detainees was actor Ibrahim Celikkol, who became famous for his roles in the TV series "The House in which you were Born" and "Flight of the Bird."
