The Israeli military announced the "elimination" of members of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. This was announced on April 12 by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Two Israeli soldiers sustained moderate injuries during the melee, the IDF said.
