The opening of Anapa's beaches in the upcoming tourist season may increase tour sales by about 35%. This was announced on April 11 by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

"The tourism industry positively assesses the new signal that the holiday season in Anapa will take place in full this year. <...> According to the estimates of the ATOR Analytical Service, the opening of beaches will certainly have a positive impact on sales, adding about 35% to the current figures," TASS cites the text of the statement.

At the same time, ATOR noted that a sharp surge in demand is not expected, since the exact date of the opening of the beaches has not yet been announced and there is no official conclusion from Rospotrebnadzor. According to analysts, the demand for holidays in Anapa has already increased — from 30-50% to several times compared to the low base of last year. This is due to the return of tourists who missed the last season, as well as the appearance of new customers who previously vacationed at the resort at discounted prices.

The association added that a sharp increase in prices for accommodation is not predicted. However, if the beaches are open from June 1 and the summer load is high, the cost of accommodation may increase. ATOR emphasized that April is the most profitable time to book a summer vacation in Anapa.

The governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev, said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 10 that all beaches of the Krasnodar Territory would open this season. According to him, all the beaches in the region where fuel oil emissions were previously recorded will be opened this year.

On March 27, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev, during a meeting of the government commission for the elimination of the consequences of the fuel oil spill, noted that Anapa's beaches are planned to be fully prepared for the reception of vacationers by June 1, 2026.
