Kondratiev told Putin about the increase in the number of vineyards in the Kuban

On April 10, Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratiev informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about an increase in the number of vineyards in the region by 6.5 thousand.

"The Law (on viticulture and winemaking. — Ed.) appeared, and since 2019, in six years, the number of vineyards has increased by 6.5 thousand. And it's not easy to sow: it's a vine, it's a trellis, it's labor. Our seedling production has increased fourfold," he said at a meeting with the head of state.

As Kondratiev emphasized, the vine seedlings are domestic.

"These are our domestic nurseries," he said.
