Roskachestvo talked about the possibility of recalculating utility bills

To recalculate the payment for housing and communal services, it is necessary to record the fact of their inadequate quality and contact the emergency dispatch service. This was announced on April 11 in Roskachestvo.

"If a substandard service is detected, residents must notify the emergency dispatch service of the management or resource supply organization. It is necessary to record the fact of the violation itself, as well as the application number, the time of the request and the name of the dispatcher," RIA Novosti quoted Roskachestvo as saying.

After the request, as a rule, an inspection is carried out, following which an act is drawn up. It is this document or other evidence, including meter readings, that can serve as the basis for recalculation.

Roskachestvo clarified that if the management or resource supply organization refuses to comply with the requirements, residents can contact the State Housing Inspectorate or Rospotrebnadzor.

It is also noted that in case of systematic violations, it is possible to be checked by the prosecutor's office. If pre-trial measures have failed, citizens have the right to file a lawsuit with the court demanding recalculation, compensation for losses and moral damage.
