In Afghanistan, unknown people opened fire on vacationers in a park
In the Afghan province of Herat, unidentified armed men on motorcycles opened fire with automatic weapons at vacationers in a park in the Injil district, killing seven people. This was reported on Friday, April 10, by the Ariana news portal with reference to the press secretary of the Afghan Interior Ministry, Abdul Matin Kani.
The incident occurred in the village of Gabarzun. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers first separated the men from the crowd of vacationers and shot them in front of their wives and children. The women who tried to escape were also killed. It is reported that there are children among the victims of the attack.
It is specified that the dead and injured made a pilgrimage to the Shiite shrine of Seyed Mohammad Agha and spent time in a local park. At the moment, none of the groups has claimed responsibility for the attack.
On March 30, TN TV channel reported that a student at a school in the Argentine city of San Cristobal, Santa Fe province, opened fire with a shotgun during a flag-raising ceremony, killing one minor. Two other students, aged 13-15, were injured, one of them was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
