Sergunina announced the open days at the Gorky Film Campus
Gorky Kinokampus will hold open days from 17 to 19 April and from 24 to 26 April. A presentation of training programs was prepared for the guests, as well as free workshops on film making, dubbing and dubbing, comic book drawing and acting, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
"The guys will be able to try themselves in different directions related to cinema and media. Teachers will talk about the learning process, communicate with parents and answer questions," Sergunina said.
A meeting with producer Vladislav Rubin is scheduled for April 17, who will share his experience in creating youth media projects. At another event, the guests, together with experts, will discuss the design of video games and the use of VR technologies in film production. The program of the first day also includes workshops: at one of them, participants will split into teams and shoot a video study, at the other, they will participate in dubbing a cartoon in a professional studio.
On April 19, classes dedicated to the work of artists in the media industry will be held. Participants will draw a webcomic on graphic tablets and practice creating digital illustrations. On April 24, acting and dubbing classes were prepared for children and teenagers, and a meeting with Boris Mashkovtsev, Director General of Soyuzmultfilm Studios, was held for adults. He will talk about career prospects in the field of animation.
Gorky Kinokampus is a career guidance space of Gorky Film Studio for children and teenagers, equipped with high—tech equipment. There are six workshops on campus, including "Filmmaking", "Acting", "Dubbing and Dubbing", and "Creating videos for a blog". Classes are held once or twice a week and are designed for different age groups of 9-11, 12-14 and 12-17 years old. In the 2024-2025 academic year, the program's audience exceeded 1.5 thousand people.
