Eight wildfires occurred in a day in Transbaikalia

Over the past 24 hours, eight wildfires have been registered in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The total gorenje area was 225 hectares.

On the evening of April 10, there were three forest fires in the region with an area of 25 hectares. The landscape fires were completely eliminated. This is reported by the ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the RTC "Transbaikalia".

More than 50 people are involved in extinguishing the fire in Atamanovka, seven tanker trucks and five passenger cars are involved. A year earlier, several fires had occurred in the vicinity of the village. One of the fires with an area of 7 thousand hectares was active for about a week.

A special fire protection regime has been in effect in the districts of Transbaikalia since the end of March. For violation of fire safety rules, the fine for individuals is up to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities — up to 1 million rubles.
