The circumstances of the incident

The incident occurred on April 10 on Partizanskaya Street. According to preliminary data, a pop occurred in a pyrotechnic warehouse, after which a fire started. The fire quickly spread to a nearby building where a construction goods store is located.

There is heavy smoke at the scene. Eyewitnesses report a thick column of smoke, which is visible from different parts of the city. Calculations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of North Ossetia have been involved in the elimination of the consequences, work is underway at an increased level of complexity.

Initially, two casualties were reported, but later the number of injured increased. According to the updated information from the emergency services, eight people sought medical help.

One minor was identified among the victims. The department confirmed the fact of hospitalization of citizens and the provision of necessary assistance to them.

"There is information that eight people were injured: seven adults and one child," the ministry said in a statement on the MAX messenger.
