- Golikova emphasized the role of the BRAVO Award in strengthening international dialogue.
Tatiana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, highly appreciated the role of the International Professional Music Award BRAVO in the development of humanitarian cooperation. On the eve of the VIII gala concert, which will take place on April 14 on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed: the award is a clear confirmation that music has no borders.
Today, in a complex geopolitical situation, music is becoming the universal language that unites people, forms a single cultural space and serves as a solid foundation for dialogue between states and peoples. Such a high international mission has become one of the foundations of the BRAVO Award, held with the support of Radio Monte Carlo.
"The International BRAVO Award rightfully occupies a special place on the cultural agenda, acting as an important platform for the development of humanitarian cooperation and strengthening international dialogue. On April 14, outstanding performers from many countries of the world will present their art on the legendary Historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater. This is a clear confirmation that music has no boundaries. It is important for us to support initiatives aimed at expanding cultural interaction, preserving the rich historical heritage and developing a modern creative space. It is through art that a solid foundation is formed for long-term cooperation between states and peoples. The BRAVO Award has been bringing together outstanding artists from all over the world for eight years, discovering new names and promoting classical art, making it closer and more accessible to a wide audience," said Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
The Deputy Prime Minister's statement is particularly important in the light of the current international agenda. The BRAVO Award consistently acts as a "cultural bridge", bringing together talented artists despite political barriers. In 2026, the ceremony will once again confirm Moscow's status as the capital of international dialogue.
Outstanding classical music performers from all over the world will perform on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater: pianist Ming Rui (China), tenor Marwan Fagi (Saudi Arabia), violinist Naomi Tagg (South Africa), oboist Mohamed Saleh (Egypt), ballet dancers Amanda Gomez and Wagner Carvalho (Brazil), conductor Nicholas Mann (UAE), drummer Roni Barrack (Lebanon). The audience will also enjoy opera numbers performed by leading artists from the CIS countries: Kazakhstan will be represented by the laureate of international competitions, tenor Alikhan Beisekov, Kyrgyzstan by the Honored Artist of the Republic, soprano Elnura Muktarbek, and Belarus by the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus and mezzo-soprano Daria Gorozhanko.
Active work on creating a common cultural space for states with Russian-speaking populations, primarily for the CIS countries, is a strategic objective of the Russian Media Group, which includes Radio Monte Carlo. Earlier, Lyubov Malyarevskaya, CEO of the holding, speaking at the International Economic Forum of the CIS member States dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth, noted: "Our goal is to create an international platform for communication. In an era when Russia is being restricted and sanctioned, we emphasize that we are friendly to everyone who is ready to support us and walk hand in hand with us."
