In Kamchatka, rescuers began searching for a tourist group of seven people who stopped contacting. This was announced on April 10 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory.

According to available information, tourists have been hiking in the Nalychevo Nature Park in the Yelizovsky Municipal District since the end of March. On the morning of April 10, a combined group set out to search for them.

The squad included employees of the search and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory and the regional institution "Data Center" on snowmobiles, as well as inspectors of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka Nature Park.

Rescuers plan to enter the group's route from different directions. Currently, the situation in the area of the operation is being clarified.

The loss of the tour group became known earlier, on April 9th. According to Sergey Lebedev, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory, the tourists quarreled and split up, after which the group of seven people stopped contacting. .
