Military bakers baked Easter cakes for soldiers in the SVO zone on the eve of Easter

On the eve of Easter, bakers from the logistics support units of the Center group of forces organized the baking of festive cakes for military personnel performing tasks both on the front line and in the rear areas in the special military operation zone. This was announced on April 10 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Easter pastries were made from natural ingredients. The cakes were baked both in the traditional form and in the form of an ordinary loaf of bread. Production was organized at field bakeries deployed near the line of contact and in the rear.

"This holiday is very bright and joyful for us, thanks to our bakers for putting a piece into it. The guys will be very happy," says shooter Alexei Vlasov.

As noted in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, bakers of the MTO provide daily personnel with fresh pastries, including pies with fillings, bread, and small-scale products. Mobile bakeries make it possible to stably supply products to compounds and divisions in the area of responsibility.

After the production was completed, the festive cakes were consecrated by a clergyman who visited one of the leading bakeries. It is specified that the delivery of products to the divisions in the Dobropolsky and Dnepropetrovsk directions of the SVO is carried out using an off-road vehicle "Ulan", as well as ground-based robotic complexes (NRTC) and aerial unmanned systems (UAVs).

On April 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the Easter truce from 16:00 on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12.
