An outbreak of class M1.0 occurred on the Sun. This was reported on April 9 at the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").

"On April 9, at 11:47 a.m. Moscow time, an M1.0 flash was registered in the X—ray range," TASS quoted the institute as saying.
