"There are already more than 180 applicants, just over 30 children and 26 adults have been hospitalized," the agency's source said.
It is noted that no severe cases of infection have been identified. At the same time, the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Vladimir region announced the beginning of sanitary and anti‑epidemic measures in the region.
"Constant laboratory monitoring of the quality of drinking water has been provided, material from patients is being examined, and medical monitoring of contact persons in the foci has been organized," the agency's website says.
Experts recommended following the rules of personal hygiene and using only bottled or boiled water. The situation was taken over by the departments.
On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported that 55 people, including 30 children, also contracted an acute intestinal infection in the city of Uren, Nizhny Novgorod region. Six people, including five children, were hospitalized from April 5 to April 8. Outpatient care was provided to 49 patients, including 25 children.
