Only cosmonauts and test pilots in Russia can claim pension payments in the amount of about 500 thousand rubles. This was announced on April 9 by Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
"A pension of 500,000 rubles or more can be provided exclusively to astronauts and test pilots. In principle, we have no other categories that could qualify for such pensions," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
