French Embassy: fraudsters deceive Russians when obtaining French visas

The French Embassy in Russia has warned about the spread of fraudulent schemes related to visa processing through intermediaries. This was announced by the diplomatic mission on April 9.
"The embassy draws the attention of Russian citizens to the existence of numerous fraudulent schemes related to agencies offering their services in obtaining visas," the embassy said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The diplomatic mission noted that such services are often overpriced and may be provided in bad faith. It is also emphasized that the only agency authorized to work with the Consulate General of France in Russia is VFS.
