Yaroslavl Hockey club (HC) Lokomotiv defeated Ufa's Salavat Yulaev in the first match of the 1/4 finals of the Gagarin Cup. The meeting on April 8 ended with a score of 1-0, writes Sport-Express.

Maxim Shalunov scored the only goal of the match, scoring at the end of the second period. The assistants were Maxim Berezkin and Rushan Rafikov.
