Zakharova called Ukraine a "haven for hordes of cybercriminals"
Ukraine has become a haven for hordes of cybercriminals who not only operate on the territory of the country, but are organized under the auspices of the Kiev regime. This was announced on April 8 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
"There are gross violations of the rules agreed upon in the UN <...> These are not some private criminal groups. Of course, these are specialized units organized under the auspices of the Kiev regime that deal with cybercrimes...> They are recruiting ordinary citizens for this purpose <...> We are convinced that it is the Kiev regime and those Western countries and regimes that sponsor it that pose a long—term threat to international information security," Zakharova said.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that Ukraine has become a "haven for hordes of cybercriminals." She recalled that in the global fight against cybercrime, even Kiev's Western curators had already had to conduct special operations to expose Ukrainian cybercriminals.
On March 2, the FSB Public Relations Center reported that since September 1 last year, the service had uncovered over 100 channels used by representatives of the Kiev special services. More than 200 Russians living in 43 regions were detained for organizing the illegal operation of more than 220 SIM boxes and replenishing the balance of the corresponding 54 thousand SIM cards, as well as for distributing numbers and registering them. All these persons carried out the described activities in order to receive monetary remuneration.
