About 150 sites were flooded in the Kurgan region during the flood

Flood waters flooded about 150 household plots in the Kurgan region. The situation is being monitored by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the <url> news agency, flooding in the Open Field is associated with rising groundwater due to active snowmelt. The depth of flooding was up to 15 cm. Water came to 55 sites.

In the Zvenigolovsky district, when the water in the Tobol River rose, five sites were flooded in the village of Breakthrough. A temporary hydro post has been set up. The transport connection is not disrupted.

In the Ketovsky district, 40 household plots in two gardening associations were flooded. The depth of flooding was up to 30 cm. Country houses are not affected by the water.

Earlier, Kurgan tightened water quality control in Tobol in connection with the flood. The river is the only source of the city's drinking water supply.
