Russians are waiting for three days off in a row because of Victory Day

In May 2026, working Russians with a five—day schedule are expected to have three consecutive days off - from May 9th to 11th. The corresponding production calendar with the approved postponements is published on the official website of the State Duma.

If a non-working holiday coincides with a weekend, the rest day is postponed to the next weekday. Thus, in 2026, Russians will get another long rest period.
