Farewell to the teacher who died in the Perm Region will be held on April 9.

The farewell to the teacher from the Perm Region, who was the victim of a student's attack, will take place on April 9. This was announced on April 8 by the head of the Dobryansky municipal district Dmitry Antonov.

On Tuesday morning, April 7, a 17‑year-old teenager attacked his teacher with a knife at the entrance to school No. 5 in Dobryanka, Perm Krai, before classes began. The attacker was detained by police officers at the scene. The teacher's condition was assessed as severe. She was hospitalized, however, despite the efforts of doctors, the teacher died.

As a result, the Dobryanka administration and law enforcement agencies decided to shorten the lessons of the first shift and cancel the classes of the second shift at school No. 5. The prosecutor's office organized a check on the incident. Later it became known that the case of the attack on the teacher was reclassified to Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder") and Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence").
