More than 700 schools and educational centers, as well as universities and cultural sites in Iran have been attacked by Israel and the United States. This was stated on April 7 by Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Amir Saeed Iravani.

"More than 700 schools and educational centers, as well as universities, medical institutions and cultural and historical sites have been attacked, reflecting clear hostility towards the people, identity and development of Iran," a senior diplomat told a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation around Iran.

On the same day, a synagogue was damaged in the center of Tehran as a result of a strike by the United States and Israel. The shell hit the building, leaving piles of rubble and destroying valuable books, and rescue services began to sort through the rubble.
