Snow fell in the north of the Sverdlovsk region

Areas in the north of the Sverdlovsk region were covered with snow. Precipitation is coming with intense force. Snowdrifts formed in places.

Severouralsky. Precipitation began the day before, snowfall lasted all night. However, according to the staff of the reserve, this happens in April in these places.

The agency recalls that earlier forecasters warned of the arrival of a cold snap with wet snow in the region after an abnormally warm March. In some areas, temperatures will drop below freezing.

Earlier, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told which day this week would be the coldest in Moscow and the region. It will be Thursday, April 9, with daytime temperatures expected to be no higher than +2...+4 degrees, near zero at night, and sleet. By Friday, the probability of precipitation will decrease, and pressure will begin to rise. Despite the possible snow, it will not stay for long because of the warm soil - for a few hours at most. By the weekend, the real spring will return to the capital with temperatures up to +12 degrees.
